For the first time since 23 March, lockdown measures have been eased in England to allow people to see one person outside their household. Sophie Gallagher speaks to those making the most of Wednesday's rule change

Jessica Ratty’s mum only lives five minutes away from her home in rural Cornwall, but for more than two months the close-knit family have been physically kept apart by the UK lockdown. The 36-year-old has been cooped up in a static caravan with her partner Ben and daughter, Lily, eight. The three of them working, living and homeschooling all in one room while they continue renovations on their derelict property next door, unable to go anywhere beyond their garden and relying on FaceTime to talk to family.  Read more….
